I refuse to believe that nowhere in Melbourne serves a decent mexican meal with a frozen margarita! Any Aussie readers out there who can suggest somewhere for a date night on Thursday??!! I want a large frozen margarita in a glass as big as my face accompanied by a burrito or chimichangas!
So far I've heard that Amigos on Acland street is going to be the closest to edible food and drink?? Anyone?? Bueller?? Anyone??

Los Amates, Johnston Street, Fitzroy. Was there last week. They've got frozen Margaritas--even a Mango version. Pitchers of Sangria, etc. We had a special banquet so I'm not so sure about the burrito or chimichanga, but honestly it's the most authentic place I've found in my 10+ years in Melbourne.
Nicole...you heard it from a Texan...suzinoz would know. I loved the TexMex in Texas!!! :)
