Can you believe he chose work! Mr. Yummy rang late afternoon to say that he wasn't going to be able to get out of work in time for dinner, but would make it up sometime this weekend. WHAT A LAME ASS!!!

Obviously the standards for date #2 have seriously gone up in the past 6 hours after hearing this. He could have gotten away with a simple pasta dish and a movie, had dinner tonight gone over; but now that he bailed, I'm thinking that something along the lines of a beautifully prepared steak or seafood dinner, followed by a bottle of red and some sort of tiramisu dessert will be just what the doctor ordered.

As far as weekend plans go, tomorrow after work is 'Friday Night Drinks' with the ladies and then off to a small birthday soiree for one of Lindsay's pals. Saturday I'm catching another round of Footy in the late afternoon and then to a party with some people from CHICAGO!!! whooo hoo!
