I broke down today and traded my MN Twins, Vikings and Wild hockey roots in for Carlton Footy. I went to the Nike Outlet store during my lunch break and bought a jersey to wear to the game on Saturday. I live near the Carlton area and by default I suppose have decided to support them. I am a bandwagon fan at best and just enjoy going for the beer and obnoxious Aussie fans! So Saturday afternoon, along with a great group of other ladies, I will be sporting this jersey and enjoying the game - cross your fingers for good weather!
PS: Is it a game or a match? Can one of you Melbourne readers clear that up for me?
